J B Building Contractor ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect through this website, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using this website and submitting an enquiry, you agree to the practices described below.
Who we are
J B Building Contractor is a building contractor based in Retford, Nottinghamshire, run by James. For any privacy questions, contact us at jbbuilding1@outlook.com or 07581 065535.
Information we collect
When you submit an enquiry or quote request through this website, we collect the details you provide, typically your name, phone number, email address, town or postcode, the service you're interested in, and any message about your project. We do not knowingly collect information from children, and this website is not intended for use by anyone under 13.
How we use your information
We use the information you submit solely to respond to your enquiry, provide a quote, and carry out any building work you go on to instruct us for. We do not sell, rent or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
How enquiries are sent
Enquiries submitted through the quote form on this website are sent directly to our business email address, jbbuilding1@outlook.com, using a secure third-party form delivery service. We do not store submissions on this website itself.
Cookies and analytics
This website may use basic, non-identifying technical information (such as browser type and pages visited) to help us understand how the site is used. We do not use this information to build a profile of you or to sell it to advertisers.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law, you have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to request corrections, and to ask us to delete it. To do so, email jbbuilding1@outlook.com.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page.
Who this applies to
This policy covers anyone who contacts J B Building Contractor through this website, by phone, by WhatsApp or by email. It doesn't apply to any other website, and we're not responsible for the privacy practices of any site you might reach by following a link away from this one.
Data security
Enquiry details are kept privately and are only accessed by the people who need them to respond to you or carry out the work you've asked about. We take reasonable steps to keep this information secure, in line with what you'd expect from a small, local building contractor handling a handful of enquiries a week rather than a large database of customer records.
